5 Windows Phones Expected In 2013

The International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2013 began on January 8th and ended on January 11th, and Samsung has already made some announcements,

much to the delight of Smartphone lovers. It has a number of phones in the pipeline to be unravelled in 2013. Let’s scroll through the list:

1. Samsung Galaxy 4

Samsung did create a stir in the market with their Samsung Galaxy S3. They are following it with Galaxy S4. According to reports, they plan to give this phone a metal chassis, reminiscent of the iPhone5. The phone will be capable of playing a video of 1080p. The screen size is rumoured to be 5-inch and it will incorporate an HD display. Even the RAM would be greater than most phones with 3GB. It will be powered by the ARM Cortex A15 quad-core processor.

2. Samsung Galaxy Grand

Samsung Galaxy Grand comes with a capacitive Touchscreen. The phone would arrive with a 1080p@30fps 5 inch display. The Dual-core 1.2 GHz CPU would be supported by a operating system of Android v4.1.2 (Jelly Bean). The primary camera specifications include 8 Megapixels, 3264x2448 pixels and the autofocus feature.

3. Samsung Galaxy Chat

Samsung Galaxy Chat is a 3G phone powered by an 850 MHz processor. The operating system, Android OS, v4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) can be upgraded to v4.1 and for facilitating smooth chat, there is an easily clickable QWERTY keyboard. The camera specifications include-2 MP and 1600x1200 pixels. It doesn’t come with any secondary camera. It has a 4GB of internal memory and the GPS comes with an A-GPS support and GLONASS.

4. Samsung Galaxy S2 Plus

The latest Galaxy offering by Samsung is an improvement over the successful Samsung Galaxy S2. It has a screen of 4.3 inches, an internal memory of 8GB and a RAM of 1 GB. It has two cameras with specifications for primary camera being 8 Megapixels and 3264x2448 Pixels. It can play videos of 1080P and a Dual-core 1 GHz Cortex-A9 processor.

5. Samsung ATIV S

Samsung ATIV S is powered by a processor of Qualcomm S4 series 1.5 GHz dual-core Krait CPU. The GPU for the phone is Adreno 225. The display is 720 x 1280 pixels and with a size of 4.8 inches. It has a Super AMOLED capacitive touch screen with 16M colors. The primary camera is 8 megapixels and secondary camera is 1.9 MP.
